FEATURED RECIPE | Black-Eyed Pea Salsa

 

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:

6 oz. Black-eyed peas, canned, drained
2 oz. MagniFoods® Bacon Pieces, 3334
½ c. Red tomato salsa, bottled
¼ c. Tomato, diced
¼ c. Bell pepper, red, diced
¼ c. Bell pepper, green, diced
2 T. Onion, red, diced
1 ½ t. Garlic, minced
2 T. Cilantro leaves, fresh, chopped
1 T. Jalapeno pepper, seeded, finely chopped
1 ½ t. Lime juice
4 oz. Tortilla chips

Procedure:

Mix salsa ingredients together in a large bowl.  Cover and chill for 2 hours.  Serve with tortilla chips.2010 08 09 BlackEyedPeaSalsa
